The mission of our job fairs has benefited its attendess with provision of information, networks, referrals, and employment opportunities. The selected businesses will be charged with the task of empowering and equipping men by way of offering employment.

The heart of our mission targets inner city men of indigent circumstance. We have reached into crevices where nothing exists, where we have found men who are lost yet to determine what they want. From its inception in 2006, 500 MEN has persisted and connected with corporations, political partners, non-profit helpers and the grass roots community. Our result has impacted over 2,600 men and families city-wide; employment for some, direction and resolve for others, and the promise of empowerment for all. Our renown flagship event, The 500 Men Economic Job Fair will continue this year, standing firm its foundation of attracting the faith based community, human service organizations, and the constituency; And in doing so, we will have again instilled op[portunity and hope.

As Chairman, three years after our inaugural event, I have never been more convinced that our work is more critical now than at the on set. It is now, in these economic times, that we address the ever present need for information and opportunity, residual networks, and employment. To this end The Bronx Court Municipal Building/ Rotunda on June 25th, 2009 will be the BEST JOB FAIR ever. Don't miss it !!!
